How to Tune an 808
SUBLAB MINI detects the root note of any 808 sample using pitch detection, entirely in your browser. Once detected, use the semitone and fine-tune knobs to dial in the perfect pitch, then export the tuned 808 as a WAV file.
Proper 808 tuning is critical for clean low end. If your 808 is even slightly out of key, your mix will sound muddy. Use the "Snap to Note" button to instantly correct tuning drift.
